   Objective:

Part time or full time technical and creative internet consulting in the bay area.

   Related Work:

           Build Engineer October 2000 - February 2001
Alexa Internet Building 37, Presidio, SF, CA. http://www.alexa.com

Alexa internet maintains a large, search-engine-like web database, and as the build engineer I was

responsible for maintenance, fixing any problem that came up, as well as changing code which constituted
the core functionality of the company.  I also created software tools as needed for the other departments.

Editorial Assistant, Researcher, Data miner   August 1998 - April 2000
Alexa Internet  Building 37, Presidio, SF, CA. http://www.alexa.com
As an editorial assistant I spent most of my time querying large data files for particular records relating
to dates, times, URL's, names, etc., for purposes of fact checking and quality control.  In addition, I
evaulated the quality and overall utility of the service by
sampling the accuracy of the database and
aggregating the data into meaningful generalizations and trends.  I often worked with user services in

a technical support capacity.  Lastly, I created and maintained intranet sites for my department.

Motion capture suit design and prototyping Summer 1997

Analogus inc. 24 Shotwell street, SF, CA.

At Analogus, I worked with a small team of technicians and designers to create working prototypes

for a motion-capture apparatus. My time at Analogus was divided between steel and acrylic

fabrication, electrical wiring installation and troubleshooting, and drafting technical drawings for new

        designs.

           Production Artist Summer 1996
Protozoa, inc. 2727 Mariposa street, SF, CA. http://www.protozoa.com

At Protozoa, I designed levels for 3d video game that was unique in that it was essentially nonviolent.

This proved to be an enormous challenge.  My work involved bringing together the work of the 3d

artists with that of the engineers, and fashioning from them something which would prove to be fun or,

        at the very least, interesting.
