Year 2000 Maildrop list

Here's a list of my maildrop points just in case you want to send me a letter while I'm hiking! <hint hint>

When hiking along the Appalachian Trail, hikers will occassionally go into a nearby town in order to get mail and packages of food. These are called maildrops. Mail drops work because the US Postal service allows mail to be sent to and stored within the post office if it is addressed care of General Delivery.

So, if you wanted to send me a letter and you were pretty sure it should get delievered to the post office by the 16th of May, you could send it to me:

Toshio Kuratomi
c/o General Delivery
Hot Springs, NC 28743-9999
(The -9999 four digit post-fix to the zip code tells the post office computers that sort mail that the letter is being sent to General Delivery.)

\n"); if ($background != "") { $background=""; } else { $background="d0d0d0"; } } $timestamp=mktime(12,0,0,date("m",$timestamp),date("d",$timestamp)+1,date( "Y",$timestamp)); } } ?>
Pickup Date Address Comments
\n"); print (date("d M",$timestamp)); print ("\n"); print ("Toshio Kuratomi
\n"); print ("c/o General Delivery
\n"); $maildrop=chop($place_drop[1]); print ($maildrop); print ("-9999"); print ("
\n"); print ($place_drop[2]); print ("\n

There's no place like home.
