[Morning Freewrite] My mouth is dry. Water? water? Where is water for my soul? I am thirting for something. Water. Needing. Dry. Parched. Like a desert. Or worse. A salt flat. My mouth hungers for something sweet. And cool. Water. Sweet water. Without a colour. Or a flavour. Yet still. It's not water. Not water. Not water at all. But life. 'tis water. Water. From water Springs life. Is water. Is water is water as well. Can you see something that I can not? Can I see something that you cannot? Is there something that we can see? We should see? That isn't available just anywhere? Water. Thirst. Drink. Taste. _taste_ What is taste. But for water. The sense of touch in the mouth. Taste. Taste. More than tastes. But feeling. Feeling something in your mouth. Is it cool. Is it hot? Does it gurgle or sldie? Mushy? Or crisp? Dissolve? What is taste? 'tis more than taste. Like water we drink. We drink and we do not understand how much it means to be able to drink water all day. I drink water. When hiking I drink so much water. Here I drink less. Why less? What is water? That we value it so little? Yet we need it so much? Water? Why water? What about water makes it so precious that we do not acknowledge its worth. To us it is something that flows. Yet water is something we need. It is water. Water is what we need. Water. Can you see? Water? Does water come from somewhere? Where does water come from? What makes it so good? Can we ever find enough? Drink enough? Live with enough? Water makes our world go 'round. Water is life. Symbols. Water is life. Is that true? Is that an archetype? Not. We seldom portray water as life. Blood. But not water. Blood we can see. It's texture is thicker. It dries and leaves a residue. As do bodies. Hearts and brains. They have physical form. Water runs away. But water is life. What does that mean? How can we understand this? How can we find this? What about water does what? What or when can we find water? When will water matter? When will we find water again? Is there water? Where is there water? water where? Water when? Water? Treating water to kill it. Is that sound? Think of those who don't lie microwaves. Who don't like hydroponics. Who think there is a profound difference in life energy. Yet water -- do you treat your water? Why? Why not let those things that live in it live in it. Continue on and on. To grow. They may harm you or you may live with them. Is this right or wrong? Perhaps there is a great fear among us of that which is not hman. Of that which cannot be seen. The invisible invaders. Of being eaten (Bacteria and viruses and parasites feed on us.) Perhaps there is a fear of being leaned on as though we are crutches too fragile and fear ourselves breaking. There are many thingsthat could be but which of them are? Are we more than water? Or are we water's expression? Water's art? A thing created to see. To experience. Water. Does water create? How are we created? Are we created? Creation? [End morning freewrite]
